How do I get to Merzouga from Marrakech or from Fes?

There’re six options you can use to get to Merzouga desert:

  1. You can take a plane from Marrakech/Fes to Errachidia (135 km away from Merzouga sahara desert) with Royal Air Maroc, then hire a car with driver to Merzouga, contact us for the last one.
  2. You can use Supratour bus to make the entire trip direct, either from Marrakech or from Fes.
  3. You can use the public Grand taxis between a city and another, you’ll have to change the taxi in every taxi station. Note that sometimes you may not find a taxi to the next city or it may take time! Not recommended.
  4. You can rent a car from a car rental company in Marrakech or Fes, and make the way yourself.
  5. You can also hire a car with driver, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Contact us if you want a comfortable car with a professional driver.
  6. The last option is either to book one of our Marrakech desert tours or Fes desert tours. Highly recommended to save time and learn about Moroccan culture.
